Add a video (YouTube, Facebook)
It's possible to embed a video from YouTube, Facebook, Vimeo or Dailymotion in a news article or a page. If you want, you can add your own video to one of these services, and then embed it on your website.
- First you will need the location of the video.
In case of a YouTube, Vimeo or Dailymotion video; copy the location from the address bar of your browser (Ctrl-C).
For a Facebook video; click on the small arrow at the top-right corner of the video post, then click "Embed". Copy the embed code (Ctrl-C).
- Go back to the admin part of your website.
- Click, when editing a page or news article, in the text area where you want to place the video.
- Click on the
icon (in the toolbar of the text editor, 2nd row, 3rd icon from the right).
- Paste the video location in the first textbox (Ctrl-V).
- If needed, adjust the width and height for the video and set the alignment.
- Click OK to place the video.
- If you need to change the video, right-click the video (in the text editor) and choose "Edit video" or "Remove video".
