Add a Twitter item
With Visual ClubWeb, you can easily add a Twitter feed to your homepage.
-
Go to "Admin" and click "Homepage layout".
-
Click "
Add item" at the column where you want to add the Twitter feed.
-
At "Item type", select "Twitter". At "Title", you can enter a title of your choice.
-
By default, "Keyword" is selected at "Twitter feed type". You can use this type if you want to display the latest tweets based on a keyword or #hashtag. You can enter a your own text/keyword at "Keyword", just like you would do at the search box of twitter.com.
Another feed type is "User tweets". If you have a Twitter account, you can choose to display your own tweets only. Enter your Twitter username at "Username".
The last feed type is "User list". You can create your own list of Twitter users at twitter.com. When you set this list to "Public" at twitter.com, you can display the tweets based on this user list on your homepage. Enter your Twitter username at "Username", and the exact name of the public Twitter list at "List".
-
At "Max. tweets", fill in the maximum number of tweets you want to display.
Remark; with Twitter feed type "Keyword", the latest tweets of the last 7 days will be shown. Older tweets will not be displayed, even if you change this maximum number of tweets. This is a limitation that has been set by the Twitter service. If the Twitter servers are busy, then it's even possible that the number of latest tweets will be reduced. Unfortunately, we have no influence here.

Click "Save" to save your Twitter homepage item.
If you want, you can change the postion of the item with the blue up/down arrows.
